It is a great honour to introduce to you Kyra Goldman.   She is a beautiful captivating young woman of God with an amazing voice.  She has a very creative songwriting gift, flowing with love, compassion,  and thought provoking lyrics.  She also sprinkles her lyrics with a dash of humour here and there.   She is a delight to all who hear her sing!  We’ve known Kyra for several years now, so it is with great joy and expectancy that we have come up alongside to support her, and the ministry which Jesus has entrusted to her care.

Kyra has been writing songs ever since she picked up the guitar at age 14.  She soulfully expresses what inspires her spiritually.  She refers to her style as "Gospel-Folk."  Her songs are filled with various styles and rhythms, including Acoustic-Folk-Rock, Gospel, Reggae, Blues and Jazz.

Kyra loves music as a means of connecting with the Creator.   She believes that "Love is the currency of Heaven." Therefore it is with much faith and dedication that she uses her songs to spread God's message of love. She is currently working to complete her first full album.

One of her favourite events for sharing His great love this year was singing for the Troops at Fort Benning.  They enjoyed her so much that she received an invitation to return  again. 

Another wonderful opportunity to share the love of Jesus came through an online competition called "The Battle of the Bands."  It was hosted by findjesusfreaks.com this past June 2011. 

Each contestant submitted their songs, and people from all over the USA voted for their favourites.  We're blessed to share with you that Kyra won "The Battle of the Bands!"
 
   

First Place  gave her the opportunity to open for "Illumination Fest" in Red Bluff, Northern California's largest Christian Music Festival.
 
The headliners of the event included Jars of Clay and Phil Joel.

Kyra has also enjoyed working with other artists such as Gospel-Reggae artist, Eddie Neblett; and Gospel Hip-Hop and R&B artist, Rick Collins from the Duo Go2.  To your left, Kyra w/Eddie Neblett and Jay.Jay taken while they were recording Eddie's part on Kyra's Reggae-inspired song, "Love Makes You Beautiful."

As both a soulful psalmist* and a minstrel,* she ministers in many venues, including churches, coffeehouses, festivals, and various events on the East Coast, in the High Sierra of Northern CA, the Pacific Northwest, BC, Canada and England.  

Past works include the Bethel Writer's Group in Redding, CA; guitar on a spontaneous worship album; and Atlanta’s channel-57, Babbie’s House on the Angel Sky Network.

In 2004, she released a five song self-produced and self-titled EP and won 1st place in songwriting at the Babbie Mason Music Conference. The Universal Music Publishing Group in Nashville recorded her second demo in 2005. During that time she also had the opportunity to co-write with Universal songwriters.
